In Time

Okay. It's Deepavali, public holiday. No school! Yeahh! :D

Went out with Si Ling, Geraldine and Sim.

Watched 'In Time'.

Honestly, I like that movie. I think I've learned something from that movie.

Appreciate time you have in your life; appreciate people around you; appreciate money that you earn; appreciate life.

Time is money, time is life.

There's no time to be wasted. Not even a second. There is a lot we can do within a day, an hour, a minute, even a second.

Imagine if we really live in a world where time decides everything. You live with the time you left, you pay using your time, your payment is time. Time becomes the most important thing. Time is everything. The moment your time is up, you'll die.

Time symbolises your wealth, your life, your social status.
If you have lots of time, that means you are rich, you are considered as upper class people. You can do everything slowly, as you have lots of time.
If you have very little time, you are poor, you are of those lower class people. You need to work, fight, or even steal and rob to earn your time. You need to do everything in a rush, to prevent you being out of time and eventually die.

Another thing that I notice from the movie is the system of the world. The distribution of the rich and the poor. It's like a fixed system. The status quo needs to be maintained in order to keep the balance of everything. But there are people who want to change their lives to better one. Sometimes it is really contradicting. We want everyone to have good life and equal welfare. The truth is it is hard to achieve. If there's no social class differences and everyone is considered as upper class people, or maybe everyone is in the same social class, then who's going to do the works to keep the world going? It's just like if there's no farmer who's going to supply us with rice and vege? It's sad, but it's a fact.

Okay, it's just my opinion. I do hope that everyone will be having the same good life. It's to be fair to everyone. Everyone deserves a good life.

Time flies, people change. Time impacts our life, I believe. Fully utilise our time, surely we can change our life. With time, the bad will become good, and definitely it'll get better and better.

Mahatma Ghandi said, 'Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.'

It's true. =)

If you have something that you really want to do, better do it now, before there's no more chance to do it.
